Stunning Sapphires for the Month of September
Sapphire is the birthstone for September. As the month comes to a close, CJ Charles President Vahid Moradi shares with us a selection of sensational sapphire rings. Each piece has its own unique origin, and features unheated sapphires that boast exquisite, natural colors and superior quality.

The first ring originated in Ceylon, and is a beautiful 5ct sapphire set in a 1920's filigree design. The sapphire is certified by American Gemological Laboratories (AGL).

The second ring was acquired from an estate in Switzerland, and was designed by Harry Winston in the early 1970s. It features a breathtaking 5.5ct sapphire from Madagascar, which is flanked by 2 pear-shaped diamonds.

The third ring has a timeless 3-stone design with a center 12.27ct sapphire and two 2ct asscher cut diamonds. This spectacular piece was submitted to Gübelin Lab in Switzerland, and came back certified as a Royal Blue Natural No Heat Burma, which indicates one of the finest varieties of sapphires in the world.
We are also given a behind-the-scenes look at an upcoming ring design, which will feature a 4ct radiant cut diamond and a 6.24ct unheated Madagascar sapphire. The gemstones will be set in a bypass motif with hand-picked calibrated trapezoids on each side of the ring's setting.
