Rare "Collectors Piece" Pre-owned Rolex Oyster Cosmograph Daytona, Osvaldo Patrizzi, 16520

This rare pre-owned Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona has been nicknamed the "Patrizzi". It received its nickname when Osvaldo Patrizzi sold his Rolex collection in 2006, which included a 16520 black dial Daytona which had a brown discoloration on the subdial rings. That discoloration was seen in other mark IV dials and became known as the "Patrizzi" dial, which is now highly collectible. This time piece features a 40mm stainless steel case with a numbered rotating bezel and black dial. It comes with hour, minute, seconds and chronograph functions. This watch has a stainless steel case back and is fitted on an Oysterlock bracelet. Water resistant to 100 meters, with an automatic movement. Serial #W279139, circa 1995.
